Fit-N-Fab Club

25+ Fit-N-Fab Club youths will Take Part in Rising New York Road Runners

More than 25 students will be are off and running this school year as part of Fit-N-Fab Club’s Rising New York Road Runners team. Rising New York Road Runners, available to students across the U.S., emphasizes the importance of perseverance, team work, goal-setting, and other positive habits that translate to success in the classroom. Students from grades third to eight will be introduced to the Rising New York Road Runners’ comprehensive curriculum during after school practice sessions.

Our Rising New York Road Runners Coach for Fit-N-Fab Club will work directly with NYRR to create lesson plans tailored to fit the needs of our students. Using NYRR’s online PLAYbuilder our club lead will be able to learn and choose which activities are appropriate for each students’ age and ability level, and gradually introduce new activities as students grow and build self-assurance. The program’s age and developmentally appropriate approach can reduce the risk of injury and instill the confidence needed for our students to stay healthy and active for life.
